Pink Mini Dress

If Barbie was a biker …..and she probably was since she had ALL the jobs. I’m pretty sure this would be her look.

I have a major thing for mini dresses and boots. Inspired by one of my favorite style icons , Fran Drescher , I am forever a fan of little dresses . When I was in high school most of my fall fashion was heavily inspired by the show the Nanny. This little Shift Dress is taking me back big time. The color is bright and pops and … there are pockets ! That’s enough to be excited and inspired from…¬†Recently , I shared on IG (see post here ) how I have been intentional about reconnecting to the things that inspire me.

I have have found myself looking back , more than forwards, to find what gets my creative juices flowing. I am giving everything in my life a throwback refresh because sometimes the answers to why we feel uninspired , exist in the past. So I am full on embracing the past. From this thrifted mini dress to picking up my journal more often ; I have begun to remember and reconnect with myself.

Feeling uninspired happens to us all. It is in these moments that we feel like we are losing ourselves, our gratitude slips, and we can fall out of alignment. In these moments how do you reconnect to your true self? What inspires you and makes you feel like yourself again ?
