So, apparently fashion week has spoken . There is a new hot color in town for fall and its RED.

Okay, so maybe its not so new. Actually outside of the LBD , red is the most iconic and classic statement colors around . I am no stranger to flaunting all red ( As you can see here  ) . From the bright and bold to the deep and seductive, red in all its forms is a go to color.

I am super excited to see it styled this fall . I like to pull out my red pieces when I need a bit of courage to tackle a new task. I love a bright red lip for an interview when I have to keep it corporate .

Red as a color has a strong association with power, energy , courage, and passion. It is a color as you go through the final months of the year can help you call on your courage and strength as you tackle the last of your goals for 2017.

Because red is such a bold and powerful color it can be used as a little pop of interest or detail or it can be the whole shebang in a head to toe look. Even a simple red lip can help you feel empowered throughout your day to be and do your best. It can help you stand out visually and in your energy .

The choice is yours. How will you wear your reds?

For the Bold
Make a statement and having all eyes turn when you enter a room in head to toe red. I love an all red dress ( see my red looks here and here) they exude confidence and power.

So maybe head to toe red isn’t your thing. Try taking your red statement piece and pairing it with a print or primary color. Black is always a great combination … I like navy and cream combinations with red as well!

In the Family
Pieces within the red family are a great alternative for those looking to go a little less shocking with bright red. Marrons, merlots, and Burgundies are beautiful variations of the popular red .

A Little Touch
If you are not a big fan of red or are just looking to keep it minimal, opt for a red lipstick or accessory to jazz up your look.
