Lace Me Up + Strip(e) Me Down

My personal everyday style is not overtly sexy. If I had to put a title on it I would say it’s a mix of girl next door meets classic with a little fun thrown in . Ha — thats a pretty long title. I am not really one to dress for trends but for what makes em feel beautiful and confident. A lot can happen in a day , and you should be dressed to handle it all ! Wearing things that make me feel self conscious instead of empowered for the sake of trends seems counterproductive in the self care department.

I have a long standing love affair with dresses. They make me feel pretty and love the way a good pair of heels makes you strut. That’s just my thing. As I have matured in style I have grown to opt for more than the bodycon dresses if my teens ( although don’t get me wrong – gotta love a hip hugging mini dress ) and for more shift and midi dresses. Spring is here and I know for a fact I will likely be living in every summer dress you can imagine. Bring on the florals, eyelet details , and of course stripes !

Stripes are a spring and summer classic print that is perfect for brunchin’ with the ladies , Bbq’s with the family, or random trips to get ice cream and walk in the park with bae. I paired my Navy and white Mandee dress with a neutral pair of lace up sandals from Charlotte Russe . This dress is so comfy and flirty and could easily be paired with sneakers and a Jean jacket for a more casual look .

In honor of the first week of spring I have gathered a massive collection of dresses for the warm months ahead . P.S they are all under $100!
