Industry Recap: NYFW with American Express

Whew…. finally a small break ! I have three hardcore weeks of 13 hour work days in the field under my belt and yes, I will be recapping you all on everything the month of September has sent my way .Its been an exhausting but exhilarating month .

Instagram and Facebook spilling all of the tea early, the news is out! My life was made whole with an opportunity to work MADE Fashion Week with American Express. What an amazing experience! Having worked with the brand previously in their pop up Centurion Lounge and a just completed two week stint with their US Open program, I was more than excited to jump right in for Fashion Week.

The American Express VIP Lounge gives card members/attendees the full backstage experience. This is the ultimate insider peek at the backstage goings for MILK Studios MADE Fashion Week in the Meatpacking District . The lounge was set for a perfect fashion filled week with direct access to the designers, hair and make up, and personal Q & A sessions . The glass walled room looking out to the famous City Walk was arranged with delicious signature cocktails, a mouth watering spread of food, GIF photo booth, and the amazing styling services of the Dry Bar. I am now obsessed with Dry Bar after seeing their quick beautiful styles .

(for my NYC ladies looking to look fabulous without leaving your home, check out Dry on the Fly. A stylist will come to you )

As Amex host and fashion insider Micah Jesse guided guests through a dance filled, photo slaying , and celebrity/ designer filled show. Micah had all of the insider news on what was going on during fashion week and in the industry. The lounge experience included some extra surprise VIP interviews while guests relaxed and enjoyed the space . I loved working with all of the ladies on this years Fashion Week team and meeting all of the guests for this seasons shows.

I hope you all enjoy some awesome #BTS shots of the lounge and backstage . I was very excited to be there. What shows were everyone’s favorites?
