It’s officially September and I am fulling embracing fall as a result. Its unbelievable how fast this year is going. It seems like I was just shopping for swimwear and now it’s time to prepare our sweaters, booties, and of course denim.
There’s something about a good pair jeans that just makes you strut through your day.
A good denim piece in your wardrobe can instantly add a cool and relaxed vibe to any look or it could be the perfect piece for a polish less formal look. There is probably nothing more necessary on a day-to-day basis then a good pair of jeans. Fall is around the corner and that means saying goodbye to fancy sundresses and hello to Dope denim.
We aren’t talking regular shmegular denim . Nope this is denim that makes a statement and basically creates a look. That’s right denim with interesting details is pretty much all I want to wear all fall. In celebration of all things pumpkin spice , changing leaves , and leather jackets I am fully embracing fall and my favorite fall trends for denim.
A little tear here in there is the perfect edgy detailing needed to take a simple T-shirt and a blouse look to the next level. Whether you layer ultra ripped jeans over fishnet tights or go for a more conservative distressed pattern like the ones I am wearing distressed jeans can add that Pop of visual interest necessary to take your outfit to the next level.
So maybe because just aren’t your thing. So swap out the stress details for embroidered ones for a 90’s vibe. I have already adopted this trend as a favorite with a pair of block heels embroidered with flowers (see here) but I’m excited to take this trend into fall with patches and embroidery on my denim pieces . This is a great look to rock on a denim jacket as well .
Denim – Not Jeans
All genes are not created equal. And all denim are not considered jeans. Let us not forget the short shorts, the jumpsuits, denim dresses, chambray shirts, and of course Jean jackets that we will see lots of over the next couple of months. I call these my honorable mentions.
